Do you carry insurance?

Yes, absolutely. We carry full liability insurance, which most venues require. If your venue needs a certificate of insurance (COI), we're happy to provide in upon request.

Are you licensed?

Yes, we operate as a registered and insured business (CINEMARVEL FILMS LLC)

​Where are you based? What makes you different from other studios?

We're based in West Orange, NJ, and proudly serve couples throughout NJ, NY, PA and beyond.

What makes us different is the experience. When you book with us, you work directly with Cristian Velez, owner and your main point of contact from start to finish. No layers of coordinators, no outsourced communication, no confusion. You're not just another date on the calendar, your story and memories are handled with care, intention, and commitment to delivering a top-tier, seamless experience.

What is your photography and videography style?

Our style is documentary-driven, emotionally honest, and cinematically refined. We focus on capturing real moments as they naturally unfold, rather than overly posed or staged scenes.

For video, storytelling is at the heart of everything we create. Each film is thoughtfully crafted with intention, pacing, and emotion, designed to feel timeless and meaningful, not trend-based. Our goal is to create an heirloom piece that can be enjoyed for generations on a large screen, not just a highlight for social media.

For photography, we blend natural direction with candid moments, delivering images that feel authentic, elegant, and true to you. We carefully curate your gallery, keeping the strongest and most flattering images while preserving the genuine emotion of your day.

In short, we create refined, documentary-style imagery and films that are timeless, emotional, and deeply personal.

Do you work well with other vendors?

Yes! We pride ourselves on being team players and collaborating smoothly with planners, other photographers, DJs, and venues to create a seamless experience

Do you travel? What about travel costs?

We travel for free within 70 miles radius of Orange NJ 07052. We will travel farther, but there might be a travel cost associated. City weddings may incur toll and parking costs.

 

How many photos do you deliver?

On average, we deliver 70–100 edited images per hour of coverage.

If you add a second photographer, you’ll receive even more variety, typically about 50% more images, thanks to additional angles and perspectives.

We take far more photos than what you receive, but we carefully curate your gallery and remove duplicates, test shots, out-of-focus images, and any unflattering moments. You’ll receive the best of the best.

Do you offer retouching, color adjustment, or other corrective services? Are those included or an additional charge?

Every image in your collection is color balanced, exposure adjusted, and cropped and straightened as needed. Portraits of the couple receive minor blemish removal if needed. Emphasis is placed on creating a cohesive set of images that will display beautifully in your home, and look stunning as an album. More extensive edits may be requested and are subject to an additional charge per image.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes, as your professional wedding photographer, We will retain copyright of all your wedding images, however I always provide an official copyright release for you allowing unlimited personal use and printing of your wedding photos.

Have you photographed at our venue?​

While we may or may not have photographed at your specific venue before, as creatives we don't necessarily need prior experience at a location to create beautiful work. What truly matters most is great lighting and a strong backdrop, the same venue can look completely different depending on the time of day, the season, and even the weather. A sunset in October will feel very different from a summer afternoon ceremony, and we know how to adapt to all of it. We always arrive prepared, scout the grounds, and intentionally showcase the best features of your venue in your photos. Every wedding is unique, and we're excited to highlight your location in a way that feels fresh and personal to your day.

How do you deliver the photos?

Your images are delivered via a private online gallery, ready to share and download. You can easily send the link to family and friends and download the full-resolution files.

Do you offer prints or albums?

Yes, we do!

Albums and wall prints are available as add-ons. Album design is custom-made to tell your story beautifully.

While prints and albums are not included in our standard packages, you’re welcome to order through us or print on your own.

Why do we need a team of 2 photographers and 2 videographers?

Having a full team ensures your day is covered completely and efficiently.

• Simultaneous coverage if the bride and groom are getting ready in different locations
• Multiple perspectives (for example: bride walking down the aisle + groom’s reaction at the same time)
• More guest reactions
• More creative angles and storytelling opportunities
• Less stress and smoother timelines

For video especially, multiple camera angles elevate the storytelling and ensure no important moment is missed.

What is the difference between a Content Creator and Videography?

Content Creation:
This is trend-focused and social-media driven. It’s typically filmed vertically using a phone and intended to be watched on a phone. It’s casual, quick, and perfect for sharing your day instantly on social media. No professional audio equipment or external microphones are used, all sound is captured directly from the iPhone's on-camera microphone to maintain an authentic, behind the scenes feel.

Videography:
This is an heirloom memory. Filmed with professional cameras, professional audio, and cinematic intention. It’s documentary-style storytelling designed to be watched on a large screen with your loved ones 10, 15, or 20 years from now. It’s timeless, emotional, and crafted with purpose.

What is included in your standard Content Creator package?

This package uses iPhone vertical footage to create authentic, social-ready content.  our standard package includes up to 8 hours of coverage. You’ll receive:

  • A download link with all raw vertical clips captured on our iPhones, delivered by the next day.

  • Two 90-second Instagram reels, delivered within 3 days.

How do you deliver the videos?

All films are delivered digitally via a download link.

Our exclusive package includes a lifetime online gallery, so you don’t have to worry about losing your memories due to corrupted files or damaged computers.

​

How do payments work?

A $1000 retainer fee is required to secure your date.

The remaining balance is due one week after your event, which helps our couples manage their budget comfortably.

Full payment is required before post-production and editing begin.

• Credit card (3% processing fee applies)
• Cash or check

When do you deliver the photos and videos?

Once full payment is received:

• Sneak peek photos within one week
• Full gallery and films delivered within 2–4 months, depending on the season.

Do you have backup plans?

Absolutely.

• All cameras record on dual memory cards
• Each member of our team brings a minimum of two cameras, ensuring we always have backup equipment ready at all times
• We maintain a trusted network of professional backups
• All files are archived on two separate hard drives
• We securely store your files for one year
